Innovation and technology can boost sustainable development, enhance competitiveness, create employment opportunities and provide new momentum for economic development. Utilising its advantages in technology, research and development (R&D), internationalisation and its status as an international finance centre, Hong Kong will put together innovative resources from the Greater Bay Area and the world to promote I&T R&D, boost our competitiveness and create quality job opportunities. The Greater Bay Area will surely bring Hong Kong significant opportunities to diversify its economy and develop innovation and technology, which is an economic driver in the new era.
Mr Raymond Fan, Director of Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office will share how this international innovation and technology hub can connect the Western Australian businesses with the limitless possibilities. He will also give an update on the latest promulgation of the Greater Bay Area Outline Development Plan which was released in February 2019.
